It's also a pain to have to scroll back & forth between colored number sets)Īlthough some of the images are more appealing than the last few games in the series, for the most part, these images are rather boring and lack "curb appeal". (which btw: I've had to click 3-4 times before the color is accepted, not to mention how difficult it is to click the arrow to scroll to the next set of numbers. Other pixel art games have so many useful features, such as maps that show the current color locations, features that tell you how many cells each color has available, and one of my favorites was choosing the desired colors shown as crayons versus just square color boxes. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE A WOW FACTOR OR AT LEAST SOME NEW FEATURES Even though BF is way behind on the Pixel Art series, after 16 releases one would think that something would improve to keep fans interested? Pixel Art is now just a "dated" old-fashioned game with none of the features that the new kids on the block have to offer. I'm just not crazy about it anymore and have found another much more entertaining. Pixel Art is very relaxing, music combines with faint nature sounds, subject matter is varied enough to appeal to older children and adults. My ideal quiet time is computerized painting and jigsaws, and my 2 kitties don't get to knock everything to the floor as they help me have fun. It needs a few of those bells and whistles to make it more enjoyable for me.

But I will be the first in line if some changes are made to jazz up this series that I once loved. I own 12 Pixel Arts, have finished only a few. No matter how beautiful the colors and subject may be, the quality disappears as we are left with a very small, blurred image. High on my con list are, having only half a second to view the finished image and it being zapped down to a bit larger than an oversized postage stamp. The various greys for the numbered areas are hard on the eyes. It often takes many clicks to pick up a color. Pixel Art displeases me for several reasons: The scroll jumps forward when trying to select a color. I don't like juvenile pics and I really don't want to color cars and clocks, etc. The more elaborate ones are especially rewarding. It becomes a long game in spite of just 64 images. The devs get the $$ but what are WE getting? I love the challenge and time involved on each piece. So as it's always a blind purchase, hoping for the best, I decided to stop. It's impossible to complete level one and get to the other pics. I painted a bit of each color on each image and didn't care for the small variety of shades. I liked the cat very much but it obviously would require more than the demo time.

When a PC is crafted, there is a small chance that you will receive one of Porygon's constituent parts, used to create the Porygon item.If We Have To Complete The First Level before the next ones are opened it would be wonderful to have appealing images to work with and pretty colors. After dyeing a PC, breaking it will still return the default red PC as an item. Only the player who placed a PC may dye it. This cannot be done via the crafting interface the PC must first be placed. It is possible to use dye on a PC to change its color. The PC does not heal Pokémon like it does in the Pokémon games. Clicking the buttons on top will allow the player to go through the boxes. Pokémon can be moved by clicking a Pokémon and then either clicking an empty square or another Pokémon in the PC or party, moving the Pokémon to the square and swapping places with the other Pokémon if applicable. There is also a release function (the trash can) within the PC that allows the player to release Pokémon.
The number of boxes can be changed in the config, up to a maximum of 256 boxes (7,686 Pokémon including the player's party). The PC has 30 storage boxes by default, each box being able to hold 30 Pokémon for a total of 900 Pokémon (effectively 906 Pokémon in total including the player's party). Within the PC, it is possible to either swap Pokémon from the party to the PC or use the PokéChecker function within the PC to view a Pokémon's stats. The Pokémon storage can be accessed from any PC system. Once a trainer has six Pokémon in their party and another Pokémon is caught, it will be sent directly to the PC system. A PC can be broken faster with a pickaxe, but it will drop as an item regardless of whether a pickaxe is used to break it. PCs can be crafted, found in some Pokémon Centers, or obtained as a drop from certain Pokémon. A PC is an item that is essential to any Trainer who wants to "catch 'em all".
